The Self Color System project aims to revolutionize the custom paint industry by creating a vending machine that produces various paint colors from just three base paints. This innovation reduces waste and production costs while streamlining the supply chain.
Currently, custom-made paints are produced by paint dispensers according to the base paint production method. A pre-manufactured base paint is selected based on the qualitative and chromophore properties of the desired paint, to which colorants are added to obtain the final product.
