This project focuses on developing a novel embedding bath for 3D bioprinting to create complex tissue structures with hierarchical vascular networks. The aim is to produce standardized, tissue-specific constructs that facilitate predictable tissue development for various applications.
Engineering tissues with a hierarchical vascular network, which is the goal of our ERC project VascArbor, is challenging.
Developments in the field of biofabrication, including 3D bioprinting, are promising to cope with this challenge.
