This project focuses on enhancing alkaline water electrolysis technology to produce renewable hydrogen efficiently. By developing advanced materials and optimizing system components, it aims to create a scalable and cost-effective solution for large-scale hydrogen production.
The EU Hydrogen Strategy sets the goal of installing at least 40 GW of renewable H2 electrolysers by 2030, which imposes significant challenges for water-electrolysis technology.
