The 2010 Researchers' Night in Silesia, Poland, engages the public through interactive activities, including hands-on experiments, workshops, and live demonstrations. The event aims to foster interest in science among all age groups and build a consortium of local universities for future outreach efforts.
The 2010 Researchers' night coordinated by the Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice, Poland) is actually the continuation of 4 previous similar events.
It will take place in the ""traditional"" two main Silesian Cities, i.e.
Gliwice and Katowice, but also in four smaller towns, being Zabrze, Rybnik, Sosnowiec and Cieszyn.
