The SEINE project focuses on developing sodium-ion batteries using molybdenum disulfide as an anode material. By creating two-dimensional structures with graphene, the project aims to enhance battery performance, addressing the challenges of cost and longevity in energy storage solutions.
Lithium-ion batteries have been known as the main solution to the global demand for energy storage devices.
However, the rising cost and limited availability of Li have hindered the further development of these batteries.
