This project develops new techniques in seismic oceanography to study oceanographic processes. It focuses on analyzing thermohaline staircases, which are critical for understanding ocean mixing and circulation, relevant to climate change research.
Seismic oceanography is the application of seismic reflection profiling together with conventional oceanographic techniques to the study of physical oceanographic processes.
