This project focuses on developing new single-atom catalysts using modified carbon nitride supports to enhance metal stabilization. The aim is to improve catalytic efficiency in photocatalytic reactions for producing valuable chemicals under visible light.
Despite the unprecedented development in the field of single-atom catalysts, these materials still suffer from major challenges, including, among others, the difficulty of reaching high loadings of catalytically-active metals in atomically dispersed form.
