Web Science is a newly established field of science, which exclusively focuses on the study of the Web.
Two main challenges are set: 1/ to study the Web on a macro scale, 2/ to engineer the Web to facilitate further development.
This proposal is set within the field of Web Science, and addresses the second challenge: to engineer modern Web applications that, through their intrinsic design features, form a solid foundation for future developments in the Web.
