SenSOP-II is a smart farming tool that optimizes irrigation and crop management using a three-layer sensor approach. It aims to enhance agricultural productivity while conserving water and energy, particularly in wine production and other crops.
New tools have to be developed to mitigate emissions of greenhouse gases and adapt to impacts of climate change withrespect to the interfaces of water, land use and biodiversity due to water saving techniques, technology development ofinnovative mapping and plant growth monitoring systems.
