This project aims to create a consumer-level virtual reality system for simulating social conflicts, based on previous research. The goal is to develop applications that can help in understanding and addressing social issues, while also exploring commercial opportunities.
Immersive virtual reality has been found to be useful for the simulation of conflictual social situations, where classical results from social psychology may be reproduced.
The purpose of this project is to produce a consumer level version of the virtual reality system developed in the ERC Advanced Grant TRAVERSE, and to show how this may be applied in applications depicting various types of conflict situation.
