The SERENA project focuses on advancing millimetre-wave technology for applications like 5G communications and automotive radar. It aims to enhance the performance and affordability of beam-steering systems through innovative design and integration techniques, ultimately boosting the semiconductor industry in Europe.
Millimetre-wave (mm-wave) frequencies are currently being exploited for a wide range of applications such as radars, wireless communication, and imaging.
