This project develops a high-performance tracking calorimeter for precise energy measurement in high-energy particle collisions. It utilizes a novel digital platform that incorporates machine learning to handle large data volumes effectively.
The ERC frontier project ADG-670406 develops a novel very high performance tracking calorimeter for the precise measurement of the energy of the particles produced in high-energy collisions.
One of the key challenges that we have had to overcome is that of reading out the unprecedented quantity of information that such a calorimeter produces.
