SESAM2030 engages students in understanding the role of research in addressing climate change and biodiversity loss. By involving youth in hands-on science activities and discussions, the project aims to foster interest in research careers and promote behavioral change towards sustainability within the bioeconomy.
The climate crisis is obvious, the nature needs protection, biodiversity is under threat and the environment needs to be taken care of.
But at the same the growing planetary population needs to be fed.
These are the major challenges that SESAM2030 addresses and research is a key element.
Understanding & participation from citizens & youth are central elements if research are to thrive.
