This project aims to advance the study of stellar coronal seismology by analyzing waves in the solar corona and applying this knowledge to other stars. It focuses on creating synthetic observations to identify oscillation modes in stellar coronae, utilizing archival data from various space missions.
In this project, we propose to open up the field of stellar coronal seismology.
Coronal seismology is the technique that studies waves in the solar corona, and deduces difficult to measure coronal plasma parameters.
Solar coronal seismology has made enormous progress in the last decade.
