Genis develops health products from Therapeutic Chitooligosaccharides (T-ChOS™) derived from shrimp exoskeletons. Their main focus is on creating a nutraceutical called SIMECOS to support cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, aiming to improve their quality of life by reducing pain and fatigue.
Genis is based in Siglufjördur, a village in the North Iceland traditionally focused on the fishing industry.
