This innovative approach allows for the installation of larger turbines while meeting regulatory requirements, thereby supporting the expansion of offshore wind energy.
GBM has developed Vibrojet® as an urgent needed alternative for the hydraulic hammer currently used for installation of offshore wind turbine foundations.
Current method has increasingly difficulties to install the much needed larger wind turbines and to comply with stricter regulations.
Vibrojet® involves the whole monopile, including vibrating it, jetting the soil below the monopile, and creating a fluidized bed in the hollow monopile.
