The SIMREC project combines computational network science and archaeological data to analyze the Roman economy. It aims to provide quantitative insights into trade networks and economic structures, enhancing our understanding of historical economic systems.
SIMREC (Simulating Roman Economies) is an inter-disciplinary project that will explore the most hotly debated questions about the Roman economy: was the Roman Imperial trade market equally integrated as nowadays?
