This fellowship investigates the impact of underground infrastructure on urban sustainability and resilience. By analyzing case studies in Berlin, London, and Saint Petersburg, it aims to develop policy recommendations for better urban planning and adaptation to future challenges.
This fellowship aim is to identify how the use of underground space and its physical infrastructure (PI) influence, interact with and impact on sustainability, vulnerability and resilience of urban areas, both now and in the future.
