The SISTERS project aims to reduce food loss and waste in Europe by implementing innovative solutions across the food value chain. This includes creating a platform for farmers to sell surplus produce, developing smart packaging, and enhancing consumer awareness through dynamic labeling.
Only in the EU, we generate every year around 89M tonnes of Food Loss and Waste (FLW), accounting for 20% of the total foodproduced, with costs estimated at ?143 Bn, impacting each stage of the Food Value Chain.In SISTERS, we propose a set
