The miRLIFE project has developed SLAMseq, a novel technology for analyzing RNA kinetics. This approach allows for rapid and cost-effective insights into gene expression, with the potential to revolutionize research on human diseases and treatments.
Current gene expression profiling by massive parallel RNA sequencing provides insight into relative abundance of RNA molecules but fails to resolve the underlying principles in gene regulation that are reflected in the intracellular kinetics of RNA biogenesis, processing and turnover.
