This project focuses on advancing technologies to study chromatin and transcription factor interactions in the genome. It aims to develop high-throughput systems for understanding epigenetic regulation and its implications for cancer detection and treatment.
Genes and genomic elements are packaged by chromatin structures that regulate their activity.
The fundamental unit of chromatin is the nucleosome, composed of an octamer of histones.
