This project focuses on developing smart implantable cardiac patches that integrate electronics with engineered tissues for real-time monitoring and regulation of heart function. The goal is to create a system that supports cardiac regeneration and improves disease management.
Ischemic heart disease is a major cause of death in the Western world.
