SMARTER focuses on enhancing resilience and efficiency traits in sheep and goats through genetic and phenotypic research. The project aims to develop new breeding strategies and genomic tools to improve animal health, welfare, and productivity in various farming environments.
SMARTER will develop and deploy innovative strategies to improve Resilience and Efficiency (R&E) related traits in sheep and goats.
