SMARTMEM is focused on advancing membrane technology for consumer products. The project trains PhD students in various disciplines to develop innovative applications, such as functional textiles and health-oriented air care devices.
SMARTMEM is a multidisciplinary project leveraging the emerging technology platforms around so-called smart membranes and evolving this platform to commercial use in consumer good products.
