SMARTTEST is a doctoral training network focused on developing a proactive, contact-free remote health monitoring system. By integrating advanced sensing technologies and biomedical signal analytics, it aims to enhance personalized healthcare through improved monitoring of vital signs and health status.
Current healthcare systems rely heavily on individual’s self-monitoring ability to identify symptoms and initiate professional medical intervention, because of the limited possibilities to monitor a person's health proactively and from a distance.
