The SMILIES project focuses on enhancing the performance of perovskite solar cells by using Transition Metal Dichalcogenides to improve conductivity and stability. This research aims to advance the commercialization of these solar technologies and expand their application in opto-electrical devices.
SMILIES is based on perovskite solar cells (PSC) employing Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs) in a cutting-edge approach for the fabrication of stable and efficient PSCs.
The current bottleneck are poor vertical conductivity in 2-dimenisional TMD and stability of PSCs.
