The Safety MicroSensor project develops a compact sensor chip for detecting hazardous chemicals and radiation. This innovative device integrates multiple sensors into a single 3x3mm chip, enabling continuous monitoring of critical infrastructures and wearable technology applications.
Objective of the Safety MicroSensor (SMS) project is to leverage on an innovative and versatile microelectronics platform (codenamed SENSIPLUS) in development at Sensichips, currently at its 3rd iteration, that enables integration of sensors with CMOS microelectronics into a single miniature CBRN-E sensor chip of only 3x3mm.
