This project investigates the genetic and environmental factors influencing reproductive behavior, including fertility and family size. By employing advanced genetic techniques, it aims to uncover the causal relationships between genes and reproductive outcomes, reshaping current understandings in demography.
This project will be the first to engage in a comprehensive study of the role of genes and gene-environment (GxE) interaction on reproductive behaviour.
