This project focuses on enhancing methods for monitoring contaminant distribution and biodegradation in soil. By integrating geophysical techniques with traditional soil monitoring, it aims to provide accurate assessments of bioremediation processes and improve the management of contaminated sites.

Currently proven methods (based on invasive sampling of soil, soil water and gaseous phase) are unable to provide sufficiently accurate data with high enough resolution.
