This project aims to enhance the Critical State Soil Mechanics theory by incorporating the effects of soil fabric. Through theoretical, numerical, and experimental methods, it seeks to develop new models that accurately reflect soil behavior in geomechanical applications, particularly in hazard mitigation.
The theory of Critical State Soil Mechanics (CSSM) has become a paradigm within the framework of which elastoplastic soil constitutive models have been developed for the last 50 years.
