SONATA develops advanced sound recognition systems by using high-resolution brain data to inform deep learning models. The project integrates cognitive neuroscience techniques to create biologically inspired neural networks that improve AI's ability to interpret sounds in dynamic environments.
SONATA (Sound-Oriented Neural-AI Alignment for Temporal Audition) addresses a core scientific and technological challenge: artificial systems still lack the human brain’s ability to interpret sounds quickly and flexibly.
