SONNET investigates social innovations in the energy sector to understand their role in sustainable energy transitions. The project combines qualitative and quantitative research across multiple European cities to explore how these innovations can overcome barriers to adoption.
SONNET aims to create an inter- and transdisciplinary understanding of the diversity and processes of social innovations in the energy sector (SIE).
