The SPADArt project reconstructs the domestic settings of early modern European art to better understand its cultural context. By analyzing historical inventories and architectural evidence, it aims to reveal how artworks were displayed and their significance in daily life.
The SPADArt project addresses a significant gap in our understanding of early modern European art by reconstructing the private domestic settings in which artworks were originally displayed and enjoyed.
