This project aims to understand the factors influencing species diversity in ecological communities, such as tropical forests. By analyzing spatial patterns and developing simulation models, it seeks to enhance biodiversity conservation efforts.
One of the biggest and most persistent challenges in contemporary ecology is to explain the high diversity in ecological communities such as tropical forests, grasslands, coral reefs, or plankton ecosystems.
