The STAIN-IT project aims to develop a fast, non-invasive, and label-free immunohistochemical staining method using multimodal imaging and deep learning techniques. This innovative approach seeks to enhance cancer diagnosis by providing reliable and efficient analysis of tissue samples without complex procedures.
In most European countries, the diagnosis of cancer is achieved by examination of haematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining by an experienced pathologist.
