The STAMINA project aims to automate part handling in the automotive industry by developing a fleet of mobile robots. These robots will be designed to perform tasks like de-palletizing and bin-picking, enhancing efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Part handling during the assembly stages in the automotive industry is the only task with automation levels below 30% due to the variability of the production and to the diversity of suppliers and parts.
