The STARS project aims to enhance the stability of perovskite solar cells by developing new materials and engineering interfaces. By addressing critical stability issues, the project seeks to facilitate the transition of perovskite technology from research to industrial application.
The growth of perovskite in the photovoltaic field is unprecedented.
In only a very few years, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) raised from 3.8% (in 2009) to 23.3% (in 2018).
