This project explores the impact of cell size on stem cell function and aging. It aims to identify the mechanisms behind stem cell enlargement and its effects on rejuvenation and cancer development, using mouse models to investigate these relationships.
The failure to regenerate tissue underlies a challenging health issue in elderly. A main contributor to this decline is the loss of stem cell function during aging.
