STEPforGGR explores a novel technology for removing greenhouse gases through large-scale atmospheric photocatalysis. The project aims to assess the feasibility and scalability of this innovative approach, contributing to climate change mitigation efforts.
STEPforGGR is a research and training focused initiative consisting of world-leading institutions in the multidisciplinary and intersectoral subject areas of physics, chemistry, engineering and manufacturing.
The overarching purpose is to promote a novel greenhouse gas removal technology: removal of non-CO2 greenhouse gases utilising large-scale atmospheric photocatalysis enabled by solar up-draft towers.
