The STIMESI-2 project enhances Microsystems design education in European universities by providing hands-on training and access to design tools and technologies. It focuses on developing skilled engineers for the industry through practical courses and collaboration with MEMS foundries.
This proposal is submitted to maintain and further increase the Microsystems design activities in European Universities and Research Institutes which has arisen since the start of the successful courses created and offered during the current STIMESI project due to end in December 2009.The goal of the STIMESI-2 project is similar but more focused than that of the current STIMESI.
