The project introduces the STORM device, a smart management system for large-scale solar photovoltaic plants with storage capabilities. It aims to enhance grid flexibility and stability, facilitating the integration of renewable energy sources and reducing carbon emissions.
The development and penetration of renewable energies, especially solar photovoltaic (PV) in the EU, plus the expected growth in installed power, is demanding new features and capabilities to PV power plants.
