STRACO2 aims to develop a regulatory framework for carbon dioxide capture and storage technologies in the European Union. The project focuses on facilitating international cooperation, particularly with China, to enhance the adoption of these technologies for zero emissions.
STRACO2 will support the ongoing development of a comprehensive regulatory framework in the European Union for CO2 capture and storage technologies (CCS) for zero emission applications.
This will respond to the requirements of multi-stakeholder groups in Europe affected by these technologies and their applications both domestically in Europe and under future inclusion in emissions trading schemes and Kyoto mechanisms.
