This project investigates the role of the cytokine IL-33 in immune responses during viral infections. By identifying the cellular sources of IL-33 in lymph nodes and spleen, the research aims to enhance understanding of how this cytokine influences antiviral T cell function.
There is increasing awareness that the recently identified cytokine IL-33 is playing a key role in multiple types of infections and pathologies.
