The SUAV project focuses on designing and building a compact solid oxide fuel cell stack integrated with a battery for hybrid power systems. It aims to optimize energy generation for mini unmanned aerial vehicles using propane as fuel, enhancing mission duration and enabling lightweight applications.
SUAV aims to design, optimise and build a 100-200W mSOFC stack, and to integrate it into a hybrid power system comprising the mSOFC stack and a battery.
