SYN+AIR focuses on improving multimodal travel experiences by enhancing collaboration among transport service providers. The project aims to facilitate seamless door-to-door journeys through data sharing and smart contracts, ultimately improving planning and operations in air travel and other transport modes.
Collaboration is a concept that carries heavy weight when discussing multimodal trips of passengers.
For Transport Service Providers (TSPs), it is a method to facilitate a door-to-door (D2D) journey, which is a basic goal set out by the EU in the 2011 Transport White Paper.
However, collaboration is a very generic concept that is hard to define.
