This project explores the use of atomic layer deposition to enhance the performance of base metal catalysts for converting biomass into industrial chemicals. It aims to improve the efficiency of chemical processes while reducing reliance on expensive metals.
Catalytic technology has advanced markedly throughout the 20th century, refining the catalytic processes that provide us with fuels and base chemicals.
