This project investigates the role of specific immune cells in severe asthma, focusing on how biologics affect their function and movement within the airways. By studying these immune responses, the research aims to identify new treatment targets to improve patient outcomes.
The development of biologics targeting cytokines involved in type 2 lymphocyte function and activation offers new hope for more than 16 million patients living with severe asthma, but not all patients respond, and none are cured.
