This project focuses on developing targeted treatments for chronic low back pain and osteoarthritis by utilizing advanced drug delivery systems and stem cell biology. It aims to regenerate damaged tissues through innovative nanocarriers and imaging techniques, training young scientists across multiple countries.
Mobility, important for well-being, is seriously impaired by chronic low back pain and osteoarthritis in many people due to degeneration of cartilaginous tissue of the intervertebral disc and joint.
