This project explores the integration of communication networks and molecular plasmonics to develop active nanoscale devices like switches and repeaters. By studying the interaction between metal phthalocyanines and surface plasmons, it aims to enhance speed and efficiency in nano-communication applications.
Communication networks and molecular plasmonics are two scientific disciplines, which at first sight might seem completely unrelated but which are about to meet in the emerging fields of nano-networks and nano-communication.
