This project reexamines the historical interactions between Judaism and Christianity in early modern Central Europe, focusing on Jewish theological perspectives on conversion. By analyzing previously unknown sources, it seeks to challenge the notion of strict boundaries between the two faiths.
This project endeavors to recalibrate the accepted understanding of the Jewish-Christian interchange in the early modern East-Central Europe in light of an analysis of Jewish theological elaborations of conversion to Christianity.
